He was born in Cheonan and studied Photography and Fine Art. He is a photographer. However, He thinks himself more a jpg craftsman than a role of photographer. When digital image technology exceeds the photographer's shooting level, he considers other possibilities for taking pictures. In particular, it pays attention to the nature of vision itself that changes through digital photography and the sense of retreating into the future.

나름 전통 있는 곳에서 정통으로 사진을 배웠지만, 제대로 익히지 못해 다시 공부하고 있다. 그 과정에서 미술도 함께 공부한다. 나는 사진 찍는 사람이다. 그러나 사진사의 역할 보다 JPG장인에 더 가깝다는 생각을 한다. 디지털 이미지 기술이 사진사의 숙련도를 넘어선 시점에서 사진 찍기 그 이외의 가능성에 대해 고민한다. 특히 디지털 사진을 통해 변화하는 시각 자체의 성질과 미래로 후퇴하는 감각에 관심을 둔다.
